Occupation: Catering Assistant, Mellors Catering

George has always had a passion for catering since leaving school is now working hard as a catering assistant with Mellors Catering.

George says that his placement has allowed him to use the skills that he has learned at college in a work place. This has helped him grow in confidence and learn how to work well in a busy environment.

“My favourite part of the job is working on the salad bar serving customers”

George hopes that his experiences will lead to a career in the catering industry. “I am positive about my future and the support that I get on my internship has helped me develop so that I can get a job in the future”.
