Thornbeck College - Newton Aycliffe (NEAS)
Thornbeck College is an independent specialist college providing education for students aged 16 to 25.
At Thornbeck we have high aspirations for each learner and strive to enable each of our young adults to reach their maximum potential. We work in partnership with our learners to tailor their learning experience and pathways according to their individual needs and personal objectives - in a way that delivers success.
Anticipating, identifying and addressing each and every learner’s needs and responding with personalised support that removes barriers, delivers increased success rates and progression. Learning programmes are designed to develop skills needed for everyday life and work.
The college philosophy is that no stand-alone provider can fully meet the holistic needs of every learner and so we have initiated and sustained a wide range of partnerships, both regionally and nationally, to further improve outcomes for learners.
Our environment is one in which all can feel safe and appreciated for their individual contributions. Staff are highly trained individuals who work within a multi-disciplinary approach to ensure that the core values of the Society remain at the forefront of their everyday practice.
