Occupation: Customer Service Apprentice, Middlesbrough Community Learning
Recently appointed customer service apprentice Amelia is loving her role at Middlesbrough’s Multi-Media Exchange.
Amelia has been getting to grips with a variety of tasks including photocopying files, following up learners, preparing exams and office administration tasks.
Amelia, who has a hearing impairment, says “I am who I am, my hearing impairment is who I am, and that shouldn’t affect me … I am able to achieve things with the help and support from everyone around me”.
Her advice to other young in the same position? “Nothing is impossible so just go and do it!”
