Learning Disabilities Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services - (LD CAMHS)
Prior to accessing CAMHS, young people and their families can find support via the Neurodevelopmental Pathway - Assessment Route for Autism and Associated Conditions | Middlesbrough . This includes information around the Bubble of Support in South Tees and how a referral to CAMHS can be made.
Our learning disability child and adolescent mental health service (LD CAMHS) provides a range of specialist health services to children and young people, aged between 0-18 years, with a wide range of learning disabilities (mild, moderate and severe) and their families. In addition to their learning disability, the referred child or young person will be experiencing significant mental health problems or complex needs.

- Occupational therapist
- The Team can also refer internally to the LD CAMHS Challenging Behaviour Service where appropriate following assessment.
