Coronavirus - Keeping People Connected Service (Check and Chat) with MAIN

Keeping people connected service - a support service for those who have or may have learning disability and/or autism.

Many people with learning disability and/or autism will become increasingly vulnerable during the current Covid-19 crisis. If you come across vulnerable people, then please refer them to the telephone support service.

Even if you are not sure if a person has a learning disability and/or autism but it is clear that they are feeling isolated and in need, then please refer them to the 'Keeping people connected service'.

Once somebody has been refered to the service they will receive regular calls from specialist staff to access and support them with understadning, practical issues and signposting where additional help is needed.

Please see the attached documents for more information surrounding the service and support in place.

You can refer somebody by either emailing or phoning the address and number provided.
