MacKenzie Thorpe Centre - South Bank (NEAS)
The Mackenzie Thorpe Centre is an independent specialist school based in South Bank, Redcar and Cleveland for learners aged 5-19 years.
The school offers a broad and balanced responsive curriculum, designed to meet the assessed needs and abilities of all our pupils. The curriculum is designed to increase meaningful outcomes for pupils, needed for the next stage of their education and into adulthood. We've created an environment for everyone to feel safe and appreciated for their individual contributions.
The school has implemented a person-centred approach which addresses any barriers through holistic approaches, involving a range of specialist staff and other support agencies. Multi-disciplinary assessment procedures, further supported by key staff, provide pupils and their families with continuity to help build positive and trusting relationships.
