Middlesbrough Shopping Centres are making the shopping experience a little easier for people with ASD by introducing Autism Friendly shopping hours.

• Captain Cook Square - Every Saturday 9am-10am
• Cleveland Shopping Centre -  Every Saturday 9am-10am
• Parkway Shopping Centre - Every Sunday 9.30-11am they run a quiet hour, they call it Sensory Sunday
• Morrisons, The Berwick Hills Centre, Ormesby Rd, Middlesbrough TS3 7RP
• ASDA, 2 North St, Middlesbrough TS6 6AB

The shopping centres make adaptations such as no music and lower lighting to avoid a sensory overload.
