Carers Training - Middlesbrough Council

Middlesbrough Council values the important role that Carers play.

Are you supporting friends, family or neighbours on a regular basis?

Would you like to know what help and support is available locally?

How can Middlesbrough Council support you?

Carers often hold families together, enabling loved ones to get the most out of life.

Looking after someone can be tough and can have a huge effect on us, our lives and our plans.

We have arranged a series of sessions to share information on what it means to be a Carer and where you can go to get advice, help and support.

It will also be an opportunity to discuss how to support someone you know who is a Carer.

The sessions will be held virtually, lasting a couple of hours and are at various days / times to suit.

There are a number of different sessions to choose from, including:

  • General Carers Awareness
  • Autism - Carers Awareness
  • Carers and Mental Health Awareness
  • Caring for someone with Drug and Alcohol problems
  • Carers in the BAME Communities Awareness

Further information about the sessions can be found here: Carers | Middlesbrough Intranet
