MATRIX Neurological - Family Support Service
MATRIX Neurological are a registered charity that provides practical help and support to parents, carers and families who have a child or young person living with the effects of an acquired brain injury.
We have obtained some NHS funding from the South Tees CCG Community innovation fund to deliver our new Family Support Service for parents carers of brain injured children. For families this service will provide:
- Service Navigation
- Training and Skills Development
- Mentoring and Peer Support
- Practical help and support
We also run an innovative Brain Injury Group for Parents aimed at building familiy resilience; reducing isolation; improving carer health and wellbeing; and relaxation methods. Contact us to find out when an where the next group is running.
