SEND and Inclusion Sufficiency Strategy 2022 - 2026

This strategy sets out the current position on SEND (special educational needs and
disabilities) and Inclusion provision available in Middlesbrough and our plans to develop
provision to meet the needs of children with SEND or those at risk of exclusion over
the next 5 years. We aim to enable children to access education as near to their local
community as possible and are fully committed to working with our schools, parents
and children and young people to make this a reality. We want all our children to be
able to access high quality education which helps them to achieve their potential.
