South Tees Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) work with a wide range of Health services available in Middlesbrough to support children and young people with SEND. These services all come under the heading of Health but are provided by different organisations;
- South Tees Hospital Foundation Trust - James Cook Hospital and community
The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough provides a wide range of support to children, young people and adults.
- TEWV (Tees, Esk and Wear Valley NHS Foundation Trust)
TEWV provide a range of mental health, learning disability and eating disorder services. This includes CAMHS. West Lane Hospital is also the base for the specialist eating disorder service.
GPs deal with a whole range of health problems. GPs usually work in practices as part of a team that includes nurses, healthcare assistants, practice managers, receptionists and other staff.
