Information and support for children and young people with disabilities in Middlesbrough.

Services include:

  • In-house day or overnight short breaks
  • Direct Payments Information
  • Occupational therapy service
  • Short Break support through Direct Applications

There are a range of information booklets produced by Children with Disabilities Team which may be useful for parents and carers of children with disabilities. A selection of these are available to download via "Downloads" option within this page.

The team also publishes bi-monthly newsletter, Disability Matters, containing information about local and national services, charities and events that are relevant to children with disbailities and their families.

As well as the newsletter, the team also has a free Text Alert service, whuch is a brilliant way of getting updates about the local events and other relevant information. In order to subscribe, we just need your name, mobile number and your consent - we will do the rest.
