Information and support for children and young people with disabilities in Middlesbrough.

Services include:

  • Assessment of need
  • Social work support
  • Sensory impaired social work support
  • In-house day or overnight short breaks
  • Direct Payments Information
  • Occupational therapy service

A range of information booklets produced by Children with Disabilities Team for parents and carers of children with disabilities are available to download via "Downloads" option within this page.

The team also publishes bi-monthly newsletter, Disability Matters, containing full of information about local and national services, charities and events that are relevant to children with disbailities and their families.

Text Alert is another great service that we offer from our team which is a brilliant way of getting updates about the local events and other relevant information. It's free to subscribe to this service. We just need your mobile number and your consent - we will do the rest.

If you would like to be added to our mailing list for the newsletter, to subscribe to our Text Alert service or for any further information, please contact us either by telephoning or by emailing to the contact details below.
